  1. bring some clothes like sweatshirts to keep yourself warm, because it is going to be late September and early October. but it is not going to be that cold, so you can bring nice sundresses but not that many

  2. Well, from a man's perspective, and judging from what the ladies around are doing, the weather today has been glorious. We were out on the river this afternoon and sitting at the club having a few beers afterwards until 8pm in shorts and light shirts.

We had, strangely enough, a light shower earlier on in the morning, but then full sunshine and around 30Celsius.

Its March now which means Autumn weather, but if you are from the UK this will be better than your summer, so work your wardrobe out from there. Short skirts, shorts etc are still the order of the day with a light top to go with them. Light, open type shoes, sandals etc are the norm. It might get a touch chilly in the evenings (although 37 degrees is forecast for next week) especially in a couple of weeks as we move further into Autumn, so a light jacket and some jeans would come in useful. Also some slightly more "formal" wear if you are planning on going out in the evenings, although Perth is a very informal city.

Money is extremely subjective and depends on exactly what it is you expect to be paying for. The best bet is to bring your credit and bank cards and just spend what you need at the time - cash can always be drawn from the ATM's.

Generally speaking, expect to spend in dollars what you would spend in pounds (i.e. $1 = Pds1) on entertainment type of things.

  3. Bring as many casual clothes as you think you'll need because unless you're gonna spend your time in five-star restaurants there's no much need of posh stuff

Depending on what you're gonna spend I'd bring AU$500 at the most

bon voyage (wish I was going to Oz :( )
