What to visit in Ireland?

Trying to make an itinerary for our trip in October. It's our honeymoon. We are driving from Shannon to Dublin. And stopping around those areas. Staying at B&Bs along the way. Can you suggest places to see or B&Bs to stay at. Does anyone know where exact PS I love you was filmed. I know it was in Wicklow County. Where is the house in the movie? I already found the pub they filmed at. Thanks so much!

If we were you we'd drive straight to Cork.

What's with all this 'PS I love you' stuff? Jaysus, we've made tons better films than that!

For instance, they filmed parts of Angela's Ashes in Cork. Now THAT film was a laugh a minute. They filmed Disco Pigs in Cork, that was hilarious as well. The Quiet Man was filmed up in Blarney Street and Ryan's Daughter was filmed in the English Market.

Go from Shannon up to Ennis and the Cliffs of Moher, then back down to Limerick, and on through Cashel, Kilkenny and Waterford. From there, take the coast road up through Wexford and Wicklow. I think a lot of the film was shot around Enniskerry in Co Wicklow, but I haven't seen it so couldn't say for sure.
