I'm going skiing tomorrow and the forecast says its supposed to be about 9 degrees celsius or 48 degrees fahrenheit... So I just don't know what type of clothing is suited best for that weather?? It's partly cloudly.

Should I wear my full ski jacket or a sweater? Stuff like that.

Thanks!

  1. me: im a lazy teanager so if its above freezing im in a hoody and snow pants

  2. thats hot man.

wear like snow pants and a long sleeve shirt, no jacket.

heck if it was that hot where i live (alaska) everyone would ski nude. no joke.

  3. Well it depends, it might end up getting colder or it might end up getting warmer. So I'd suggest bringing a heavy sweatshirt and a normal coat, (With lining to keep heat in.) and if you get hot then take one or the other off. Maybe bring a lighter sweatshirt just in case. Wear a hat or a helmet w/e ur used to wearing. Standard gloves will do fine but you might want to bring an extra pair. If i know anything i KNOW that when it gets warmer in the winter, the snow starts to melt, and then it gets sloppy and wet and so you want to bring a spair set of dry clothes. Dress in layers, you can always take some off. I'm a ski racer so i ski almost everyday in the winter, in fact i'll be skiing in july up at Mt.Hood Oregon for their summer ski camp, so i'd say my information is reliable. I've been skiing for about 10 to 11 years, i know what i'm talking about =] Hope you have fun tomorrow!!

  4. woah thats a warm day for skiing.

just where ski pants and maybe a light jacket/sweater. if you want, wear underarmor.

    have fun.

  5. Wear 3 thin layers on top and have 2 hats, one that will cover your ears. You can remove a thin layer and still stay warm.  The temperature you are in will be quite warm when you ski.  Take a small pack to put the spare clothes in, also wear thinner gloves than midwinter use.  Try to avoid overheating stay hydrated.

  6. where a wind breaker because when you sweat the wind won't help. I suggest like to long tees, or under armor and a light jacket, you will sweat and smell

  7. Wear long underwear: top and bottom and a pair of ski socks that goes over the long underwear. then wear a light pair of sweatpants or athletic pants. and no matter WHAT the weather, you should always always ALWAYS wear snowpants. then on the top i would wear (over my long underwear) a long-sleeved T-shirt and a sweatshirt. then, bring a coat (preferably lighter) and you can decide when you get there if you want to wear it or not.

    hope this helps

  8. 9 degrees for ski is REALLY REALLY REALLY hot.. no need for ur whole suit ull see ull be sweating like crazy or else... wear sumthing light maybe not a sweater bcuz snow sticks and sweaters absorb the snow. maybe just a shell or lil spring jacket .. nothing to warm. i ski in only a lil shirt when its like minus 5 .. i find thats really hot so imagine plus 9 ..
