i have being selected as columnist in my college magazine and so i was wandering that what should i write, should i give quize,jokes,poems, articles (thought provoking) or anything else, plz tell me.

One of the columnists we have at the paper I work at tends to write about his perspective on current events. So, around my town, there are a lot of people leaving their kids in cars. (Stupid I know.) So he would find some way to talk about that. Usually, he takes one side and talks about the local instance in addition to the big picture.
