this was clearly offensive especially since their coach has a history of being racist.

  1. wow'...now if they don't bring home the gold to spain, i'd say maybe, just maybe you should've practice more & be rasist less.

  2. They meant it as a way of entering the Chinese Olympics with peace, friendship blabla all the good stuff that China promoted at the opening ceremony. It shouldn't be taken in a negative manner. The photo isn't done because it's funny either. It's just a message that "hey we're just like you." People shouldn't be offended at every little thing.

  3. They didn't think! But so far they haven't gotten in trouble just been talked about because if THE U.S. did it than there would have been a big problem!!!!

  4. They were simply having a good time.  Whether or not it was offensive is determined by who ever views it and I guarantee that not all Chinese find that as an insult, some think it's hilarious.  I'm sure they were also joking around making sounds of dropped silverware "ching ding dong ping long" but that's the part that the over reactive media didn't hear about.

  5. i didn't know that about the coach, that's interesting. but awful.

and that picture is downright disgraceful!! nobody does that, come on now! that shows no class!!!!!

  6. ya

it could have been worse :(

for example * painting themselves black with U.S.A jerseys >.<
