how will the atmosphere change if the earth's temperature continues to rise...? also, how will the oceans change if the temp. continues to rise?

  1. 1st thing -- the earth is going through a normal change. here in southern wisconsin i would be sitting under 50 feet of ice just 10000 thousand years ago. -- personnaly i think there isnt anyone that knows exactly what will happen because we dont have any data to work from. dont plant your roots to deep so you can move north or south with whatever happens


  2. If the temperature rises then the polar ice caps and glaciers all around the world will melt. When the ice caps melt the sea level will then rise, flooding coastal cities below sea level.

  3. An increase in the overall temperatue of the earth causes the polar icecaps to melt and causing the sea level to rise.

    Furthermore, less ice means less sunlight reflected meaning more heat absorbed by earths crust. Heat is energy and heated things become more excited and expand causing more earthquakes due to shifting fault lines.
