What will happen then..??

Question

Ok say a NASCAR team wrecks a car in practice. they then go to a backup car. Then say they wreck there backup car. what will happen to that team? will they have to use the wrecked car for the race?what do you think?

ofxmole got it right.  the second they wreck the first car, someone is on the phone with the shop.  This happened either late last year or early this year?  Cant remember but for some reason I am wanting to say it happened to Jimmie Johnson.  Anyone else remember this?

I think that happened to Mike Skinner one time. When it did, they had another car brought in from their shop.

They call the Toyota factory and have one shipped in-With the COT  no one knows the difference

a few years ago this happened to stewart i think and they used a teammates backup car

Some smaller teams have wrecked out of races on the west coast stint of the schedule and end up with their junked primary car in the race. Today they would likely not be in the field because of the top 35 rule.

No most times like back at Daytona in February they have another car brought up from the shop.

They have their shop bring a diffrent car asap, they just prey that won't happen

It has happened before. I can't remember who it was but they took a back up car from a teammate and threw new decals on it. So it just depends on where they are and what resources they have available.

MOST of the teams immediately have another car hauled down from their shop wherever it may be.

That is if its not worth trying to fix the primary or backup of course.
