What will my child look like ?

I am half english half iranian but i look more like my english side. I have very white skin ,light brown hair and greeny blue eyes.My partner is Turkish with dark skin , brown eyes and black hair . I'm 36 weeks pregnant and very curious about what our baby will look like ? Do you think it will have dark skin ?

I'd say it'd look a little dark but not too much more like a tanned white person. Although, he could turn out to be fully white or fully dark skinned because skin colour can actually throw back e.g. if their is a family of white people then one person gets with a black person but then they keep only having kids with white people until their family is all white there is a very small chance that they can have a kid that would look fully black.

Usually the dark genes are the dominant ones. That is not to say that your child couldn't have light skin or eyes, but more than likely it will have dark hair dark eyes and dark skin.

Skin color will likely be tannish-olive/caramel (depending how dark your husband really is). Eye color depends on the eye color of both of your parents.  If either of his parents (or, grandparents, or any ancestors really) has blue or green eyes then there is a chance your baby could have light colored eyes.  Hair color will likely be brown.

From personal experience -- I'm white, my husband is Indian, and our 8-month-old baby is gorgeous! She has olive colored skin (which will probably darken a bit as she gets older), sparkly green-gray-blue-hazels (hard to explain but it's unlike any color i've ever seen), and fine medium-colored brown hair.  she's suuuper adorable.  your baby will probably have great coloring too.
