What would happen with my car?

Question

I now drive an armoured land-rover which has half inch bullet proof plates for body work and has had it's frames work doubled in thickness.

What would happen if some dude hit my new car at around 40 mph?

If a dude in a tank hit you at 40mph you would be squashed. If someone in a modern car hit you at 40mph he would have a rather shortened front end.

Not really a car is it. It's an APV. They'd probably die.

Being a LandRover, it would probably break down before hitting anything, but you may not be as safe as you think - a heavily built vehicle won't come off best in a crash, even against something pretty innocent looking;
