I have pale skin, hazel eyes and red hair. Both my parents have pale skin, my father has hazel eyes and my mother has green-blue eyes. My father has red hair and my mother has brown. My boyfriend has tanned skin, brown hair and blue eyes, his mother has medium skin, dark brown hair and blue eyes. His father has tanned skin, green/blue eyes and brown hair. Can somebody tell us what our child would look like?

  1. Does it really matter who the child looks like! Make the most of a loving family, who all look great in their own right. If the child has Brown hair, dark blue eyes and pale skin tones, I can't see that this would matter. You will just be so excited to see the childs loving face, that colour won't matter. Baby will change as he/she grows, and you will see all the features that you want to see. Congratulations, children are so precious, make the most of it all as time flies so quickly.

  2. Your baby will probably have a medium skin tone, green-blue eyes and brown hair. Hope this helps! =)

  3. my sister has red hair, pale skin, freckles and blue eyes. her hubby is a full blooded mexican-black hair, black eyes and dark skin. his parents of course are the exact same as him. they have 3 kids. here is how they went: daughter-black hair, pale skin & blue eyes. 2nd son: black hair, blue eyed, darker skin. 3rd son: black hair, black eyes, and darker skin. the only difference is the daughter tans really well, she doesn't sunburn at all. i have a lot of red heads in the family, and from my family tree so far, not one mother or father has had a daughter or son with red hair. but every one of them has at least 2-3 grandkids with red hair. i do know that brown eyes/dark hair is supposed to be dominant-however it doesn't always work that way! good luck, if they look anything like my nieces & nephews they will be oddly beautiful. black hair and blue eyes?? gorgeous!!!

  4. I hope it has red hair - I love kids with Red hair. I carry the genes from my Nan's family, but Husbands dark hair takes over everything. Grrr.

From personal experience the dark hair, eyes and skin, seems to be the stronger gene.

    Good Luck with the baby

  5. From what you said, your baby will have light eyes...either green or blue, depending on what gene you give (your BF has to give a blue and you can give either blue or hazel).  Your children will have brown hair, as the only two genes your BF has is for brown hair and that trumps red.  Most likely they will have tanned skin as well.  But be aware that mutations on the genes in the womb can cause some pretty interesting mixes :)

  6. If you're lucky singer Rick Astley, comedian Cathy Griffith or or odd ball comedian Carrot Top!!!
