ive just done a year at uni and am on my summer break but nt sure if i want to go back...im currently looking 4 a job but cant find one.....i cant claim job seekers allowance because im a 'student'...what would happen if i say im not a student anymore then claim JSA but change my mind and decide 2 go back 2 uni?? help

  1. I wouldn't advise doing this - I don't think you'd be able to anyway... to claim JSA you'd need proof you're not a student anymore which would mean officially quitting your course.

    Can you be more specific about why you can't find a job?

    There's loads out there - bar work / wait tables / join a temp agency? You can't be too picky about what you do....


  2. You are required to provide a letter from the Uni verifying that you have formally relinquished your place on the course
