  4. I dont have a favorite-- there are too many. Quite fond of James Wright.  Also I love the poem "Those Winter Sundays".

  5. "Ribh in Ecstasy" --W.B. Yeats. Boils down to an essence the difficulties of passion/religion & expression.

    "Marshall Washer"--Hayden Carruth. Amazing personal and cultural take on the ever-dying farm life in Northern New England

    "Without" -- Donald Hall. Hall's wife, poet Jane Kenyon, died of luekemia; this book-length poem is his meditation, examination, euology and celebration of their relationship.
