No.  I am not a bigger religious person.  But in truth, it isn't any stranger than any other religion.  It just happened in the wrong era.  The major religions cmae into existence back when people really feared desent.  Now people can be skeptical about any thing.  My major qualm with scientology is the secrecy.  It just doesn't seem open to all that are interested.  That is probably why it gets a lot of flack also.  

Now as far as believing, the brain is a power character.  If you put enough effect itno believing you can worship an empty soda can.  Once again, im not religion in any form of the phrase, but if you need something to anchor your beliefs I say give it a try.  I'd say keep an open mind, but don't do anything that you are uncomfortable doing.  Good luck.
