  1. oil, gas,and anti freeze, all these chemicals are bad if released in to the environment, and most of them are at one time or another, gas especially ,even when burnt it still releases harmful odors, good luck.

  2. gasoline, oil, antifreeze, older vehicles the gas in the air conditioners, break fluid, transmission fluid, acid in the battery

  3. Hexavalent Chromium is the only thing that I haven't seen mentioned. It is a "forbidden" substance in manufacture now, but in the old days it was quite common. Also, steel that comes from China and is used in the manufacture of cars has trace amounts of lead and antimony. The most harm to the environment comes when a car is burned. The compounds (mostly the interior) break down and give off huge amounts of toxins.

  4. gas, oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, battery acid electrolyte,

paint, plastic molding, rubber tires, carpet, some electrical wiring casing, et cetera,

    ..

  5. cigarette smoke
