Whats Wrong With My Calculator?

When ever i try to divide (75 by 105 for example) on my scientific calculator, it always comes up as a fraction!!! Hiw do i get it as a decimal?..... Also,When i subtract 27.13-18.9 it comes up as 823/100!!!! please help me!!

  1. I don't know what model of calculator you are using, but you may try to multiply the resultant fraction by 100%.

    Most likely the steps are (while you have the result on screen):

    1) press "x" (multiply)

    2) key in "100" (100)

    3) press "%" (percent)

    4) some calculator gives you new result now but some may need to press "="

    Hope that help  :)
