Whats a registration date?

for college....what does it mean?

Usually it means the date when you are released to register. They give the date and the time when you can go online and choose and register for your classes. In my college each student has their own time and date when they can register and the priority is based on the number of credits.

At the college I work at it is the date and time when you can start registering. You usually can register over the phone, online, or in person. You can register anytime after that date and time too.

Registration is when you complete the paperwork to enroll at the college.  The registration date is probably the first date that you can do this.  

There are also often registration deadlines, dates that you have to register by.
