  1. sit on las ramblas & drink sangria watching the world go buy - or go on the red & blue bus tours - you get to see everything then - have fun

  2. If you have just one day I would try to see "Parc Guell". It provodes an excellent view and a nice architecture.

Generally it is good to take a tourist bus taking a round-trip through the city. By doing that you can also see some of Gaudi's architecture and the Sagrada Familia, the very well-known cathedral. You also pass by the former Olympic sites.

I can very much recommend Barceloneta and its sandy beaches. I enjoyed that a lot a few weeks ago. There are nice bars and restaurants around the corner as well.

    Enjoy your time in Barcelona!

  3. keep yer hand on yer wallet cause theres lots of pick pockets

  4. Admire the peculiar architecture.

  5. Having hot buttnecked s*x OBVIOUSLY!

  6. Barcelona is a wonderful city, you will love it, what to do? It depends in your taste, if you are all about party and night life or if you want to see all the museums and parks, anyway you can do it all. The first place to visit is Las Ramblas, it is where all tourists and locals go to have fun day and night, filled with bars and restaurants all along the way, you will enjoy this. Then also there is Autubust Turistico, click on these links for more info.

This is a tourist bus that runs all day long, it is composed of 3 lines, the red, blue and green, you pay for 1 or 2 days depending on your stay and they take you all over the city, it is the best way to see it. They stop at every attraction and you can get out and get in the bus at any station all day long, it is a must if you want to see the city.

There are a bunch of museums that are incredible, the cathedral La Sagrada Familia is a must, it is a cathedral that is just amazing

I don’t think you will get bored in Barcelona, there is something for every taste, the food is amazing, tapas and wine is also a must, at luch you can ask for the “menu del dia” or manu of the day, which they serve in every restaurant by law, is a lunch that consist of first and second plate, water or wine, bread and desert and sometimes coffee all for one low price, depending on the place they can go for around 10 to 18 euros, be careful not to order this in those tourist packed places, they will charge you a lot, try to go in town were the locals eat, the food is better and much less expensive, also if you want to try the Paella, DO NOT eat the frozen one, make sure you ask the waiter if this paella is one of those pre-maid frozen ones, they taste like h**l nothing like a real one.

You can do a lot of search online for things to do and were to stay in Barcelona, go to http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g1874...

Or just search under www.tripadvisor.com and you will find reviews from other people that went there and what they liked and disliked.

A piece of advice, plan the trip well in advance, search and look for everything there is to do, and plan your days. My wife and I took a 22 days trip by rental car and we planned very well that we managed to do France, Spain, Italy, Monaco, Austria and Germany in a low budget and visiting almost every single important museum and attraction in their main cities, for example in Barcelona we stayed 2 days and we saw every single museum and attraction in the city.

Good luck with your trip and have fun.

  7. Watch a soccer match !

  8. take in the nou camp or camp nou however you want to say it!!!!! even if you don't like football it is a sight to behold!!!

  9. Watch out for Ronaldinho's teeth!

  10. Topa hopping, visit bodegas\wineries, maybe you can catch a faria (fair) in the summertime and watch the flamingo dancers, visit the cathedrals and take lots of pictures.  I fell in love with Spain when I spent 3 years there, Simplemente hermoso.

  11. If you are into architecture, make sure you see as many of the Gaudi buildings as possible, they are truly incredible. There is an open top bus that can take you around a tour of the city, which is good fun. This also stops off at all the best places.

In the evening the bars and clubs are fantastic, just take a walk down 'Las Ramblas' which is the main walkway and can't be missed. THere are tons of great places to eat and drink.

Parc Guell also designed by Gaudi is a beautiful place to visit if you have a hangover the next day.

  12. By far my favourite thing in Barcelona was the 'Sagrada Famila' - the giant unfinished cathedral. It is hugely famous, and you can go right to the top. Tip - take the stairs, its more fun!

Also, La Ramblas are a nice walk, the Columbus monument, Casa Mila, FC Barcelona's football ground the Nou Camp, Park Guell, Barcelona Cathedral...

Plus the usual bars, shops, Hard Rock Cafe etc...

  13. Run away from the bulls
