  1. yeah, it's your home phone. it works even when the powers out and it doesnt any signal or anything. i thought everyone knew what one was, thats what we first talk on as kids? not cell phones!!! im 13 btw. anyway hope i helped!

  2. Yes. A landline is a terrestial (ground) based phone wire. It is an actual hard-line in the ground that you could see if you dug up the dirt around it. It's a physical bit of wire. See what I mean?

  3. Yes as opposed to mobile or cell phone.

  4. Your cell phone is one that works from cell towers and can be taken almost any place.  The land line works through wires run into your house or apartment.  If your land line has cordless phones, they generally won't work more than (I'm guessing here) probably fifty feet from your phone base.

  5. A landline phone is connected by a fixed phone line like the one in the house as oppose to your mobile line which is connected by radio waves, that's the handphone you carry around.

  6. yes, its a line on the land that is connected to your house....please learn to speak english..

  7. you really don't know what a land line is?? hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa **** i guess im old!
