Whats faster train or car?

ok obviously train but i mean if i go 30 miles by car how long will it take to get soewhere do to 30 miles by train how long will it take?

  2. When I was younger, my family took vacations by train. As an adult, I commuted to work on trains. Also as an adult, I have driven my car between the USA and Canada quite a bit.

    Your question depends on a few factors that you did not indicate.

    On a clear straight track, trains can travel at 70 miles per hour.

    On a highway in a rural area, the speed limit is 70 miles per hour.

    So either one could be the fastest.

    Some trains have to make stops along the way to pick up and drop off passengers. Trains also have to deal with their own traffic signals. One advantage they have is a more direct route.

    Cars have traffic signals to deal with. Sometimes their route is not direct.

    So it would depend on the number and length of stops and the traffic.

    Once again, either one could be the fastest.
