Whats going on with my body?

I was out of the country with my boyfriend and didn't have my birth control pills with me for almost a month. I started a new pack of pills when I returned home, probably a week or so before my period was supposed to start. I got no period that month. I am supposed to start my period for this pack of pills in a week or so, but am scared cause I didn't have a period last month and am praying I am not pregnant.

Could starting my pack of pills before my period was due cause me to not have a period that month?

You did mess up your cycle a bit, so it could be due to that. I've never been on birth control, I'm 20, and I actually skip a lot anyway.

If you're not prone to skipping periods, a pregnancy test is an easy way to find out. If you want something more accurate, a lot of pregnancy help centers provide free tests.

starting the pills before your period is most likely the cause of no period,i suggest waiting to see whether you get a period this month,if not take a test hunny!

Absolutely. I was off the pill for a month because I ran out before I could get back to the states to refill my prescription. I started taking my pills again a week before my period and was a little crampy as per usual but didn't get my period.

Remember--the pills are just a hormonal way of telling your body that you're already pregnant so your body wouldn't have given you a period anyway.

Having said that however, you should be on an alternate form of birth control your first month on the pill as its effectiveness increases with the hormone therapy.

I doubt that you are pregnant and I hope that you wait with few worries (I worried anyway even though i was pretty sure). If you can't wait--take a test to be sure.
