Whats the cure for slight osteoporosis?

my mom 54 was diagnosed to have slight osteo?can supplemental medication be still effective to her at her age?thanks in advance

It sure can!!! I would encourage her to take a calcium supplement as well as a vitamin D supplement (Vitamin D is supposed to help with calcium absorption). Or she could just increase the amount of calcium she intakes.  Cheese, yogurt, milk and calcium fortified orange juice are good choices. Also exercise is a key to keep her bones strong.

Yup, the doc will give her calcium with vit d additive to help absorb it.
