Whats the name of this COCKROACH?

I was vacationing in Tobago (of Trinidad & Tobago) and at a relatives house a GIANT ROACH (I am not lying) flew in. They call it a german cockroach but I googled that and could not find a single picture to match what I had seen. if you place your index and thumb fingerss together you make a triangle shape, thats the shape it was in and it looked like a regular house roach that's usually has brown/black wings with a black head.

Can someone please tell me the name of that type of roach, no one at work believes that I've seen a giant roach like that before. It was HUGE and it could FLY.

In Australia there are Giant Burrowing Cockroaches that reach up to 3" long.  The Caribbean I think has a similar critter.  

Giant Cave Cockroaches can be found in a number of places and can reach up to 4" in length.  From what I can find they have sort of beige bodies with some dark spots.  They are known by many names including   "Trinidad Cave Cockroach" and "Trinidad Giant Cockroach"  so I suspect these might be the ones.

They don't really look like what you described though...

I don't know the name but yeah, I've heard about them and they do exist

try googling   Blaberus giganteus (the scientific name for, quite simply "giant cockroach")

It’s probably alien… disguise as cockroach so he can study you at close distant..

I know exactly what your talking about they look like a cockroaches on steroids and they fly. Yup that's a water bug. Now when you google it under images and you'll see that their are different breeds (gross) and some don't match the description. But it should be on the front page and easy to find.
