Whats wrong with my PS2?

It won't read the disks at all! I've even tried to put dvds in it. Any idea whats wrong?

It could be the sensor head that needs a clean, we had this truble and had it cleaned and it has worked fine since then. hope that helps

If you are getting a ring around the disc it could have dust in it meaning u will need a new one

Maybe there's just dust on the lens of the laser... id try blowing in there and if that doesnt work, u should buy one of those laser lens cleaner ( http://www.shop.com/+-a-ps2+laser+cleane... ) and if neither of these work, id go to like circuit city and ask firedog, or go to the geek squad... im sure its fixable and i hpoe this all helps!!

Clean the reading lens with alcohol and cotton buds.
