  1. First of all you bought it on EBay...uh i mean its probably not gonna work and its probably locked...

  2. Use the format feature on your camera to format the card.  This will refresh the card, write new file folders and a new image index file.

Hopefully you did not get a fake one.

We have been warning every one to avoid buying memory cards from the Internet until the fake card sellers are shutdown.

With memory cards so inexpensive now, there is no reason to have to buy them on the Internet.  This past weekend, 4-packs of 2GB cards were selling for under $35

  3. is it a sandisk or a random brand? if random, it might just be cheap rubbish. If  its sandisk, they will probably replace it.

Whatever the case, you should contact the seller, I've never heard of a camera that can't take a 2gb card.. unless it's one of the first digi's ever made?

  4. try loading it with files on the computer, if that works OK its your camera

  5. Possibly, your camera cant take 2gb cards? You wouldnt think that would be a issue but sometimes it is

  6. Try refitting it back into camera

It may have been you TOO quick ??

I have never had a bad or corrupt SD card

has it got a lock thing activated on the card that your camera can detect ?

Or your camera cannot take this size card ??
