Whats wrong with my eye?

i just realized that when both my eyes are normally open my left eye lid is a forth of the way down compared to my other eye. what is this called?

It's called Ptosis. Surgery is typically what is done to correct it, it's more common than you think, most medical insurances will cover surgery because it is getting in the way of your vision, it's not cosmetic.
