Whats wrong with my internet ?

i have a 256kpbs adsl connection my modem is a linksys wag200g and i'm on wireless with a belkin and it feels like its so not dsl cause the downloading is slow the uploading is ultra slow and even browsing isint that fast,what can i do??

Get faster internet, 256 isn't very fast at all, that's why it seems slow.

follow these steps

1. go to START

2. go to all programs

3. go to accessories

4. system tools

5. then disc clean up or you can try disc defragmenter

256kpbs isn't that fast you will have to upgrade to something better if you want a fast downloading speed I've got 5mbps

First check your system for virus and spyware/molware  they may drop ur system and net speed.So use AVG 8 and clean ur system.

use Mozilla Firefox browser for fast access.

That is DSL, try switching to Cable internet or Comcast High-Speed.

256kpbs is really not that fast, try upgrading. to a faster dsl connection
