  3. i dont have a harley....that's a great bike...my fav is the motorbike my dad had in 1968...it was an ugly white honda '50.  dad had modified it somehow with a different sprocket so that it didnt go so fast, but had better power on hills.   he used to take it with him on road trips and use it when he went camping, and hunting.

he also used to take us kids i have two brothers and a sister, on rides in our neighborhood...i would hold tight to him and it seemed like we flew up the road...and just before he brought me home on each trip, we would take a turn in the abandoned lot about half a mile from home...we called it bunker hills...it had ramps and old tires for tight turns, and the dust would fly, and we would yell and wave and then he would take me home...what a memory!  i was 9 years old then...and a tomboy...i have kids of my own now...my dad taught me freedom, and joy with that bike!

i hope you get as much from your harley...sounds like you do.  mb
