Sorry to say this but Jeep is a poor product, about 20 years behind in technology, reliable as a one dollar wrist watch, and thats it's good points

They're expensive gas guzzlers and aren't too reliable. Expensive to repair too.

My opinion on jeeps? American I believe so cost of maintennance would be higher.  High fuel consumption and at this time of the economic "crisis" probably be best if you had something fuel efficient.  Most jeeps look robust though not classy, quite boxy.  Other than that you've probably got to  test drive one to see for yourself first hand and what sort of a car you are looking for financially, looks, what it's going to be for.
