There is not really a lot of things that you can do other then be happy that ship just passed you by..... For many people have witness the Flying Dutchman and other well know Pirate ships as well.......... And during a thunder storm is when most people see strange ships that have not existed for hundred of years.................... For we all know that the power of lightening  can open up other dimension and allow us to veiw the other side.......................................

The Flying Dutchman?  I expect that I'd be too busy doing stuff on the ship (or boat), trying to stay afloat for example, to notice a ghost ship in the distance.  But if I did, and if it were near enough, I would probably try to board it, to investigate.
