When I go to text

Question

when I go to text my friend back my phone tells me "exceedes available space" and have deleted all calls/and all messages from the phone. and no matter what I do/it does the same thing over and over and over have plenty of minutes left and need help, immediately, to send new messages. nothing works, to send message back to him. HELP? immediately Please??? and brb-bathroom thankx.
