When dhl delivers?

it should be coming tomorrow, but its only 1 pound, so would they just leave it in the mailbox? or do i have to sign for it?

because its not me who bought it its my mom she bought it for me and im not her and i dont have ANY ID so what should i do?

  1. As you mention one pound, it seems you're in the UK, so references to your mailbox being federal property are quite wrong.  They will very probably just slip it in the letterbox, though it's down to whoever sent it as to whether they need a signature.  If they do, they aren't too fussy about who signs for it, all they need is a scrawl from someone at the address.


  2. First of all it's illegal for them to leave it in the mail box. Federal law states that once the mailbox is installed it becomes U.S. Government property and ONLY U.S. Government delivered mail and mail which you want the Post Office to pick up can be left there. However with DHL who knows. UPS always brings it to the door but I've had DHL leave packages sitting ON TOP of the mail box, where anyone could come by and grab them. But if they bring it to the door they may want a signature but they won't require ID. Good luck.
