I saw the texas chain saw massacre and it scarred me if this is a true story how did they know what took place were there any survivors at al

what happen to the rest of the crazy family when and what part of texas did this happen or was it all made up to scare people like me?

Yes I had the same thought,  But the truth is this is not a true story.  Lot of people think it is but its only inspired by true story's.  They just meen they got there idea's from killers like Jeffry Domer and all them.

Despite what anyone says, it is not a true story in the way they present it. It, and other movies such as Psycho and The Silence of the Lambs, are based on a real life serial killer named Ed Gein. He live in Wisconsin.

It all took place in huntsville,Tx. Its about 2 hours from where i live.
