  1. Wrong, its not till end of March.

edit : Oh no we're not in Western time, unless someone's moved Our Islands. Last time I checked we call it british summer time.

  2. The United Kingdom is in the Western European Time Zone -  WET/WEST.

Daylight Saving Time or Summer Time in United Kingdom begins on the last Sunday in March at 1:00 am UTC and ends on the last Sunday in October at 1:00 am UTC.

I used the website called "TimeTemperature.com" to confirm when to change my clocks to Daylight Saving Time in Canada, for the Province I live in - the traditional date for Canada was changed just last year to extend the time period for DST to conserve energy and to be more in sync with the US (our time changed Sunday, at 2:00am here in Canada).  The following link is for the UK:

    http://www.timetemperature.com/europe/un...

Edit:  L B -  This information came from the website, which is  global, that I mentioned above & it's the "Western EUROPEAN Time Zone - check the link - and thanks for the Thumbs Down.

United Kingdom uses these time zone codes:

WET = Western European Time = UTC (GMT) +0 hours

WEST = Western European Summer Time = UTC (GMT) + 1 hours
