When do visits increase?

I am 25 weeks pregnant and I was just curious about when the obgyn starts to have you come in more frequently ?

it varies from doctor to doctor. i had monthly visits until 32 weeks then i went at 34 and 36 then i'll go weekly until delivery after that.

Where are you living?? because the answer to this question differs from country to country..

I live in Dublin, Ireland and my visits have increased from every 8 wks to every 4 weeks at the 25 wk mark and they will increase to every second week at the 30 wk mark and then after the 35 wk mark they will increase to every week..

I kept visiting the OB-GYN once a month until I hit the third trimester.  At the third trimester, my visits increased to once every two weeks.  Now, I am 33 weeks along and at about 36 weeks I will be going weekly instead of bi-weekly.  Best wishes!

In the uk it was around 34weeks i went every 2 weeks, so at 36, 38, then i didnt have to go again because he was born on the day i saw my midwife at the 38 week check ! but it is from around 32/34 weeks they are more frequent. Congrats on baby !

I just got to 7 months! That's when they see you every 2 weeks. Then from 8-9 months they see you every week!
