When does Kadian expire???

I have a few left over pills i found from years ago after a surgery that i was thinking about taking. It's Kadian, but i dont want to get sick. Does anyone know if it will make me sick, or if it loses its effectiveness after a long period of time?? thanks :)

If its been years you should throw them away.  Chemical composition can change due to oxidation and humidity and be dangerous.  You will very likely get sick.  Also never crush or cut them in two, as they are 12 hr time release and too much chemical  released is fatal.  That kind of stuff is dangerous to keep around...
