it is sep 1 or 2 (eventhough some south-asians would be starting on 3rd), depending on the moon sighting on aug 31st, and depending on if your area follows local or global sighting. please note that *calculations for moon sighting was prohibited by the prophet(peace and blessings be upon him), and ISNA is one of the followers of calculated sightings.

but here in Egypt people predict it 'll be 1 st of Sep.

Well in Libya it starts on the 1st of September but im not sure about Saudia arabia. I think its on the 2nd there but im not sure. Ask your local mosque. :)
