When does harry potter come out?

Does anyone know when the movie Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will come out? I have tried looking it up but I cant seem to get a real answer. I heard it got pushed back until summer 2009 though. Does anyone know the exact date that it comes out in the U.S.?

The reasons for shifting 'Half-Blood Prince' to summer are twofold:

summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of  last Harry Potter film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment,"

I thought it came out November 21, 2008

I didn't hear it got pushed to summer 2009 but if it is then i'm pissed! hahaah

I heard the same as you! July 2009 is the new release date, and it will probably be around the 1st Friday of July! it was pushed back because of the Twilight movie!! I love both series and can;t wait to see both! But Twilight was scheduled to release in Dec. 08 and HP was Nov. 08. BUt Twilight has been pushed ahead and HP has been pushed back!! I guess they don't want competiton!
