When does twilight come out?

i heard that twilight will come out in theaters on nov. 21, but i also heard that it will come out on the 12. Which is more true????

scratch that. looks like they moved it up. hp6 isn't coming out until '09, leaving an empty slate for twilght.

Twilight is out already and the last book, breaking dawn, was out august 2nd. And the movie comes out december 12th, 08.

Heres the deal:

Since both Twilight and HP6 have the same producer (i think) and HP6 was moved to summer becuz they didn't have enough summer movies, Twilight (being the next movie coming out) got to take HP6's place. Ergo, Twilight= November 21st!

They like just changed it to November 21st. this is because Walden Media was going to produce Harry Potter 6 but because they had huge success with Batman they don't want to not have a big movie come out next year so they moved it to next year July. by them moving it Twilight had the chance to be released sooner and Summett Entertainment took the offer. :) hope i cleared up the confusion!

originally, the movie was set to be released on december 12, three weeks after the scheduled release of harry potter and the half blood prince. however, just recently, warner bros decided to move hbp back to the summer. since there was an open spot of opportunity, summit entertainment decided to move twilight's release up to nov 21.

For US & Canada it comes out on November 21 but anywhere else it isn't coming out until December 12th.

It was supposed to come out December 12, but then Harry Potter got moved back from November to next year, so Twilight took its place and is coming out November 21.
