  1. When you're not emotionally mature enough to take care of a child.  Or when you honestly couldn't love the kid like they were your own.  "A kid who isn't wanted knows it."

  2. When a mother is guilted into handing over her baby when she really doesn't want to out of obligation to the adoptive parents who have 'paid so many expenses on her behalf'

  3. When it is not in the best interest of the child.

  4. when you go abroad to adopt when there are millions of orphans in US needing adoption

  5. Adoption is wrong when the adoptive parents choose to adopt for the wrong reasons, or if the adoptive parents have not carefully considered whether they can meet the child's needs.  Adoption is wrong when the birth family is coerced, pressured or misled into placing the child for adoption.

  6. Well the only thing I can think of is if only one of the adoptive parents really want the child and the other just agrees to make their spouse happy.

  7. When you want a baby/child/teen because you need something to love and someone to love you back.

  8. When you do it just to make the person you are with happy.  When you do it because you feel pressured into it.  When the adoption is "forced" and/or illegal.
