when my computer was first hooked up to the web iwas able to get all the local radio stations and listen on their sites i didn't have to add any programs to them or anything then one day i down loaded something and it caused them to be blocked out i managed to somehow disable all the blockers and when i went click on those websites they said i now needed "adobe flash player" in order to listen to them and so i downloaded it into their systems and all of those radio sites came back fine.all except this one radio site "www. wpro talk radio .com their site told me to check a few other things and i did exactly as iwas told.at first. after completing two of the set of instructions the audio on the site came to life and then when left the site to check some other sites and then returned to that site the audio wouldn't play. finally i did the last thing they told me to do and unloaded "firefox"into the site and it came to life and this it worked. the only problem is everytime i want to listen to the radio player in that site i have to plug it into "firefox's Google" first.i don't understand that. so i chatted with tech help for "Compaq" and they gave me some things to try and so i did and the player came on(they had me shut off firewall, antivirus, and all cookies)and so i left the site and came back to it and it still worked i even turned off the computer and turned it on again and the player at the site was still working. i then turned on the firewall and the antivirus so my computer would be protected(tech told me i could go back and do that later because i expressed to them my concern about viruses entering my computer)and after i did i went back to the site, loaded the player into it again and again the radio staion's audio came to life. so i figured i finally conquered the problem.i even let them know and they were greatful that they could be of service to me. what happens. i shut off the computer for awhile and then come back to it to be certain the audio at the site is still working and now it won't play again. so i go back and remove both, firewall, antivirus, and all cookies,go back to the site and it still won't work.so here's where things stand all the other radio stations on all the other sites are working fine except for this particular ne. in order for me to get it to to work i have to plug it into "firefox's Google" first. i never had to do that before. in other words when you click on the site it says "listen live", and i click onto it. then a big black box pops up in the upper left hand corner(that's the radio's player) and it says "loading" and then it tells you it wants your "name" and "password" and then click "log in".and when ido it says the audio is playing but there is no audible sound. now tech checked out the site and said they experienced the same result and so they referred me to you.
