I'm 14 and I think its best for me to start using BC, just in-case! Better safe then sorry right? Well, when should i take it (time-wise) and when should i START it? Does it matter if its before or after your period?

Please help, before its too late!

  1. Your doctor, or whoever prescribes it, should tell you all this whenever they give it to you. (If you all ready have it and they didn't, just call them and ask).

And I admire you for using protection. Make sure you realize that it doesn't protect you from sexually transmitted diseases and infections.

  2. you start it the first sunday after your period is what my doctors have always told me

  3. You start a pack of birth control pills after your period ends.  If you have more questions, you should really talk to your doctor... not ask people online.  Your doctor will know exactly what you and your body need. :)
