When u get braces...???

When you get braces does the ortho give u a toothbrush for ur braces or does he reccomend one???

No, they don't. Atleast, not when I had braces years ago. You use a regular toothbrush and floss, with this one thing. Make sure you brush and floss really well, or you will end up with a bunch of cavities.

When I first got mine the ortho had toothbrushes and inter-wire cleaners on sale in the reception, ask your dentist there is they sell them in the ortho if he says no ask him to recommend a place where you could buy them.

For my bff, he gave her a normal toothbrush, and the flossers to use. But you can also get a little blue plastic brush thing that looks like a little blue-plastic christmas tree :D.

Oh yeah, and ur ortho should give you a new one each month because they get really torn up.
