Today just now cooked tea for some-one who cannot, don't know if it counts as the favour as it will be returned in other ways - I'm not keeping score but feel as favoured back as much as I give out. I really like the idea of a gift economy giving what oyu have to give and trusting that something comes winging back.

But I do give out sometimes like listening to people when they need to be heard but when it is totally 100 percent giving I find it enormously draining and need to be aware and limit the amount of this one way street in my life.

I'll do just about anything I can to help someone at work...do it all the time...not cause I'm a good person, but because I like to stay busy...hahaha

today, I listened to someone, who needed to be listened to.

Last Wednesday, I didn't fire a guy I should have and got my butt chewed instead.

Today, even though I am packing to return to the states, I took the time to walk over with my husband and cut his friends hair. He just loves my haircuts for some reason.

I am not sure if he likes them because they are good or because they are free.
