When will hurricane season be over?

I have a friend in Florida and I freak out every time I hear about a hurricane or tropical storm. Thanks!

Hurricane season runs from 1 June to 30 November.  Hurricanes can occur outwith these dates.  But 97% of them are within them.  The peak season is between August and October.

hurricanes are pretty unpredictable from what i hear they might have them in the summer,fall,winter,or spring,but the most hurracaines ever reported were during the summer and around the start of fall so there's my advice

September 10 is the peak of hurricane season, so it is supposed to end around mid October.
