When you call phone companies..?

Can you understand what the people are saying?! I find it really annoying when you ring these places and they cant understand you, you cant understand them. You would think it would be a major requisite for them to speak clear english.

oh, man.....don't even get me started on this!!!! I'm glad my VoIP provider prides themselves of only hiring ppl in California....its a real pleasure to talk to the techs at 5am PST...they pick up after the 2nd ring and all speak english without an accent....

you sound like you are talking about a VoIP phone company, as much of there phone support is outsourced. most local landline companies have reps working in this country still, however, they prefer to hire bi-lingual people over people who only speak english..
