...how do you prevent the urge to throwup? whenever i run in soccer practice i feel like im gonna puke, is there something i can do to help prevent that? also, is there a way to prevent a cramp when running.? thank you soooo much in advance!

  1. Make sure to stretch before you run. Runner's World has some advice and techniques to help you not cramp: http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,71...

    Also, if you feel like you're going to puke, slow down! Cut your running down to a slow jog (preferably) or a walk (not as good, but if you need to...).


  2. Don't eat or drink alot before practice. You need to stay hydrated, but if you drink too much you will probably throw up. If you usually eat before practice eat 45-60 minutes before soccer begins. Also DO NOT eat heavy foods. Fruit is great because it also keeps you hydrated.

  3. actually i always feel like i'm gonna throw up when i run a lot at practice but it goes away after you get into shape. and when you start to get a cramp just lean to where that cramp is and hold it and it'll go away. if it comes back just do the same thing.
