Question:

Where's Obamas' "Change"?

DENVER | Sen. Barack Obama is trying to portray himself and his running mate, Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr., as the "outsider" ticket of the year, but Mr. Biden's 35-year career in the Senate may make that a difficult sell. One need look no further than Mr. Biden's relationship with his lobbyist son and his law firm to see why.

Mr. Biden's campaign has hired lawyers from his son's firm to do its legal work. His son's firm lobbied for the University of Delaware and, in turn, Mr. Biden championed federal funding for lucrative projects, known as earmarks, in congressional spending bills.

  1. I read your question, as well as the link.  I have a problem with the first sentence, though.  I don't recall that, at any time, Obama referred to Biden as an "outsider."  It's true that Obama emphasizes "change" (as the Republicans are now doing, as well).  Certainly either Obama or Biden would be a huge change from the policies of the last 8 years, don't you agree?

  2. Okay, so it's fair to attack candidates' children again?

  3. His change is to make us universally poor.  He wants the US to become a large scale Cuba.

  4. More of the same

  5. Probably in the same place as McCain's "change". He tried the experience argument, he tried the maverick argument, and since those weren't working, he changed to "change". What's next, a stimulus check?

  7. In his pocket!

  8. I would get into a detailed explanation here, but to put it bluntly, Obama and his change are full of bullshit

  9. Obama's change is in his heart and in his brain that is full of new ideas for change. McCain's change is in his back pocket, Cindy holds onto the big bills!

  10. The only change I want to see is   a non Republican in office. They have ruined our economy over the last eight years.  They moved us into a war with Iraq which cost us daily 350 million dollars to be paid off by who?  The cost  us over four thousand of  our youth in war that we did not belong in in the first place. Who in thier right mind would vote for such a party?

  11. Man, you are really reaching here! It makes me laugh!

    Obama/Biden!
