Where's my birth certificate??

I applied for my passport, and I received my passport Friday but they haven't returned my birth certificate?

if the passport agency misplaced it then YOU will have to order and pay for a new one.  recently spoke to someone who applied for his passport and submitted his Naturalization Certificate, along with other family members whose documents were returned, the passport agency did not send it back with passport, when he made inquiries about the certificate he was told it was either sent back or misplaced, if he wanted another one he had to apply with the immigration service which is going to charge him a replacement fee of $380.00 that the passport agency will not pay for.  lucky for you it may only cost you 20-30- dollars to replace your birth cert.

I think it's in the county records office where you were born.
