there, i knew it, it was in the sea all along. so,is this good or bad? it might take longer to warm up, but once we have......bye bye ice, warming will last for millennia.....

I love how they emphasize pollution, then relate it to GW? Most people don't understand that land base toxins/runoff are more detrimental then warming. They are immediate and are long lasting. Leaving a very small chance for organism's to relocate. Those that are stationary will have problems, but do not represent the marine environment as a whole.

I wouldn't want the ecosystem to suffer just for it to be warmer, but one week end would be nice.

Warming oceans ARE the Driving forces of weather/climate on Earth - Remember El Nino/La Nina !  Not CO2!

Its a bit cold here right now so a bit of temp rise will be handy

Considering we are in the middle of an interglacial and Antarctica reaches minus 30°C during its summer I don't think there's much worry about there being no ice.
