Question:

Where are all the women?

Despite half the population being female, when you're out pubbing or clubbing it, there seem to be a lot more guys. When I play sports with a group of both guys and girls, and ask who would like to go for a drink afterwards, usually only the guys, and even then not many of them, are willing. Do girls love staying at home or something? Are they overworked, not enough hours in the day, etc?

  1. Not all of us are dimwitted hopefuls wearing a mini skirt up to our *** and out looking for you. Ladies have become more creative with our time and maybe some of you guys just haven't caught up yet. We have discovered our own interests and are using our time to pursue them. The days of going to bars to snag a guy are OVER. Keep your eyes open and you may find us

EDIT: What did I  say wrong here?

  2. Hmmm, both of those situations involve alcohol. So maybe the women aren't comfortable around all the drunk men? Go look for women in a supermarket or something. At the bookstore/library, the mall...

  3. Not everybody likes clubbing, drinking. Ever think of that? There are more important things to do in life, for some of us.

  4. Maybe some don't think it's "lady-like" to drink alcoholic beverages in public. That would make them "closet drinkers"

  5. Girls are at the cafe's and restaurants.  I know because I am too, usually chatting away about politics, the latest movies and, my favorite, laughing at the blonde barbie dolls and cliche g*y men - far better scenary, in my opinion.

  6. How old are you?  I only ask this because I found after college the percentage of women who enjoyed the club scene greatly decreased.  I think many simply find other things to do and get sick of being hit on by drunken men or drunk themselves.

    The big place women go...wineries.

  7. Eh, it's like sausage festival...

  8. Well,  in my town its getting deadly to go out clubbing.

    Literally.

in the past 2 or 3 wks some crazy man was tasing women to rape them.WTF!!

So we stay home, or have house parties with people we trust.

  9. My girlfriends love clubhopping, and everyone at the station loves to go for a drink once in a while. Maybe you're just hanging out with the wrong girls.

  10. Maybe as they can be sleazy and cold places?

  11. Yes. Women don't like to go out to the pub because they are overworked.

  12. I know a number of girls that don't thinking going out to a bar is a good time because they are constantly getting hit on.

They may not be staying at home.. but maybe they are going out to a nice restaurant with friends and drinking there.. or doing something OTHER than drinking..

Maybe you should try a new scene.

  13. Not all of us are dimwitted hopefuls wearing a mini skirt up to our a$$ and out looking for you. Ladies have become more creative with our time and maybe some of you guys just haven't caught up yet. We have discovered our own interests and are using our time to pursue them. 14. nooo not evreyone

  15. There's still a stigma about women going out pubbing or clubbing....or even going to certain types of sports events. As though doing that makes a woman somehow "unfeminine" or even "S****y."  The pressure is on to discourage such activities, too. Look at that TV reality show called "From Ladette to Lady" it sent out the message it's wrong for women to go out and party and have a good time.

  16. You are going to the wrong bars/clubs. Big, well-advertised venues generally have hordes of dimwitted hopefulls with a flyer in one hand and a p***s in the other. The right places are low key, generally have free or small cover charges for girls and are only good on the right night of the week (strangley enough this is often tuesday or thursday rather than friday or saturday). These are the nights that you'll find local girls out to get cheap drinks with their friends. The only way to find these places is to go barhopping. Out of 10 bars, maybe two will be just right that night. Or if you have the money you could go to a big place as a "VIP" and you should have no touble with women...but I'm assuming you'd rather not spend in the 4 digits for a night out.

  17. Okay a womans perspective.   When you are done playing sports you are usually smelly and dirty.  Women don't like to go to clubs smelly and dirty.

  18. They probably have other interests. Maybe more of them would rather be at home.  When I was young, I did quite a lot of hanging around pubs, but that was mostly because I belonged to an historical re-enactment society where once the battle was over if you didn't go to the pub there wasn't a whole let else to do.  Sitting in a tent on your own isn't much fun, especially if it's raining.

However, with a nice warm house to go home to with books, Tv, computer etc, pubs and clubs would have zero appeal for me.  And I don't like alcahol or pop music, which are other disadvantages.  I suppose even if a woman does drink or like pop music she might still prefer to drink and listen to it in the comfort of her own home.

  19. We are probably at the mall.

  20. some hate bars & some have kids....women get more worn out less red blood cells....try dating svcs online....they work

    hubby found me that way..

  21. Are you referring to those sausage-fests where a major portion of your conversation is about oh-so-intelligent topics like b***s and butts? Meh. I scoot.

  22. Where do you live? There are no guys in Maidenhead.
